Really regressed from that first season. Was hoping he'd come in and be an asset to the team with a bit more power and pace down the flank but he was absolutely dreadful today.

Had a bad game today, but then, he isn't a leftback. I think he would have suited today's high line more than both Tarks & Keane at CB.

If any left back is left 1 v 1 5 or 6 times in the first half then its not the players fault...its poor tactics.

Not said anything about Godfrey only that its harsh to blame him for the poor setup.
Or he's terrible at positioning and reading the game

He was 5-10 yds off the player each time and long balls deceived him each time. You have to read the long balls to be able to recover the space but he was just watching and jogging. Naturally he was 1 on 1 because we couldn't have McNeil helping him when we were on the attack. Godfrey simply just allowed too much space and obviously misjudged long balls. Should have had enough time to get close whilst the ball was in the air

He’s not good enough to be a right or left back, and definitely not good enough to play in the unnatural position of LB.

Even as a CB he is bad, always losses his man and has that mistake in him. Only thing he has going for him is pace.
