I think it was Covid rather than the leg break that has altered his progress.

Something gone seriously from with Godfrey. He got better and better that first 12 months. Off a cliff since then. It's not just physical, something between the ears wrong too. That performance against United at old trafford a season or so back. Its like he's forgotten how to play. Feel for the lad.

I'm glad I haven't gone mad and imagined a world where Godfrey at one point was our best defender. Was proper solid for us for a good period. Just weird how he's gone backwards so much. Maybe some off the pitch stuff too we're not aware of?
