He will have enjoyed that, suits a 3 much more with recovery abilities outside. None of want to see anything other than Tarky and Jazza in the center, but if Keane and Godfrey come in they do so now with a bit of confidence.

Has had decent games for us also as a left back...but yes his best position is in the center with 3 at the back...his performance will ensure we get a decent fee for him.
….like Keane, he suddenly becomes a ‘sellable asset’. Thats how the DoF has to work. We can replace these players with better and balance the books if the DoF is worth his salary.
You don’t keep them because they played well, you sell them because you can’t trust them.

That clearance was spectacular. Thought he played within himself but has earned a bit part (squad player). That performance will have earned us a few million on his departure because he will not replace tarks, Branthwaithe nor Keane. He is well down the pecking order
