Loan with an obligation to buy is still a good deal especially with 18 months left on his deal. He isn't trusted in a back 4. We've got 3 better right backs and if we go to a back 5 Dyche would rather McNeil at left wing back.

Yeah an obligation to buy would be fine, but when do we ever do those types of deals? Moise Kean is the only one I can think of.

Strong rumours today that he's on his way to Leeds on loan. We need to be getting teams to cough up actual money though, not 50p to loan our players for 5 months while we continue to pay 75% of their hugely inflated wages.

Problem here is that we gave him the wages. We either keep him which it looks like we dont want to do or take a hit on wages and fee. No one else is giving [Poor language removed] Godfrey anything close to what we paid for him. Not a premiership standard player getting premier wages with and English player bonus on top. Another that we will have to cut our losses on. Leeds or Genoa are not paying 70-80 k a week for this joker
