I don't mind keeping him around as a squad player, but he's been poor literally every time i've seen him play as a centre back and he's technically so limited that I wouldn't want him as a 1st choice full back.

If we could offload him, Patterson, Holgate and Keane in the summer, keep Branthwaite, and bring in a new, promising young centre half (19-21 year old) and a starting right back that would be great.

I understand Dyche hates Patterson, and to be honest he's never really impressed me. Quite poor going forward, doesn't have a goal in him, is too slow.

Obviously that's all far too fanciful though, so if we could somehow offload those three and keep Godfrey as backup I'd be absolutely fine with that.

Think he's ok'ish defensively but not good enough to make up for his deficiency on the ball.

Of our ‘right backs’ that have played a decent number of minutes this season, he has conceded the least goals per game.

Considering we don’t expect any attacking from our fullbacks, he is the best option we have as has the best defensive record of them.

What an absolute blessing they were with Coleman in his prime. I'd give anything to have those days back

Made some important contributions back end of the season to be fair but has limitations offensively. Seems and level headed lad and if he decides his future lies elsewhere good luck to him.

Patterson seems a top guy but a division two team would be gutted with him.
