Looked a real prospect when he joined in his first season, he never really fulfilled that potential though. Injuries and Covid did a number on him and he never managed to force his way back in as a regular.

20m plus up to 4/5m in add ons (arguably explains lack of playing time last season).

Signed on 5 yr deal in 2020. Current book value of 4m. Sold for 11m (plus sell on).

5-7m direct profit before a potential sell on later.

Mostly solid player. Did a job. Gave his all. Never complained.

Many many more poor investments out there.

Dunno. He was Uber gash for Norwich who leaked goals like a siv. He played an entire season for them and not one of us remembered a game he played for them when he signed.

His pace bailed him out and his best games actually came as a emergency left back if I can recall. And the less said about his heading the better.

On par with Holgate. But at least Holgate didn't cost £30mill and at one point actually looked half decent.

We didn't make 5m on Godfrey.

Godfrey cost 22m, we lost 11m on the deal.
Holgate cost 2m, we lost 2m on the deal.

I know it's cool to consider PSR as profit, but when a business constantly loses money, it ends up getting points deductions.
