Should we see the positives in Benitez work at Everton?

Hasn't James played about 5 games this season? Doubt he would have solved our problems.
Could have pulled a few points out of the ether with his talent from a few strategic cameos.

I'm not even arguing if he should have gone or not but he was here for several games before he went. Some of those should have seen him play as there was no reported injuries. We all know his frailties but the fat slug waiter never gave him a chance.

says more about James this - waits till Benitez gets the sack and then tries to point score.

Most talented player i've seen in an Everton shirt sadly his talent is wasted on his indifference to play football with a level of application.

He is the last player I would depend on in a relegation battle - yeah he may have actually prevented us getting in one by scoring/creating goals in rafas awful run of games but not a player for the trenches.

Why would he say something whilst still here? Isn't that what we spend our time slagging off Lukaku and Pogba etc for?

Even after the comments from James, the bootlickers still try to justify his time here?! Baffling.

Getting shut of James was a crap move at the time - removing a world class creative player from a squad of bang average, useless garbage, but to see that James wanted to stay and play but that kopite slug wasn't having it affirms everything we said at the time and obviously James saw right through the dinosaur - its just rank bad, selfish, egotistital management.

That we never got to see James in the royal blue front of a full Goodison is just very sad really.

The damage this thing of a manager did to our club is utold, quality players like Rodriguez and Digne binned - how we could do with them now.

Jamo:

Rodriguez said: "I would have liked to have been at Everton for much longer.

"It’s a spectacular club, the fans are incredible, but I ran into a coach who didn’t want to count on me. I wanted to be there.

"Unfortunately, the coach didn’t want to count on me."

I'm talking about after he left the club - btw just to remind you he could have gone to Porto for the same money and we got Diaz..... he's now smashing it at Liverpool.

for the record James has played 8 games out of 18 for his new club....... what a joke.

Wouldn't know mate, don't watch Liverpool, but from checking he's scored a goal for them. Smashing it might be pushing it.

Here's the situation. We keep James and Digne, we don't sign anyone in January.

You shouldn't compare the two. One was always injured and a luxury player. The other was a capable first team regular.

James being sold was fine. Digne being ostracised and sold was absolutely stupid. Especially when the replacement was an overpriced punt who isn't ready for the PL.

The fact was Benitez let his own personal issue with Digne effect the team. He put himself before getting a result by refusing to play him.
