His whole argument was we'd start playing better when Calvert-Lewin came back.

Proper clueless stubborn manager. Literally couldn't have done much worse

He didn't take any responsibility for things going wrong while he was in charge, so I wouldn't expect him to do it now.

Still don't understand his logic in selling Digne and brining in Mykolenko as if that would improve things.

The only reflection i have on this ex kopite tosser is that he turned a mediocre mid table team into a bottom dwelling abysmal team and inflicted as much damage on the club in general as he could get away with. The conspiracy theorist part of me thinks it was a job well done but he was just absolutely crud either way and should never have been hired.

Moshiri's man

Because Lucas was playing rubbish and Myko is already looking better, that might of had something to do with it.

Yeah he's making a real difference in keeping us clear of relegation isn't he.

Bottom line is he whinged about having no money, then forces Digne out and spends all the money on 2 inexperienced fullbacks.

He had no clue. Could've loaned Matt Targett instead of El Ghazi (or another experienced left back) and spent the money on a midifielder or centre back but didn't.

Only he couldnt because someone working in background was calling the shots, even Brands hinted at this when he was confronted, a few days before he went, more then likely Kia.
Lucas wanted out, everyone knew Rafael was on very thin ice, if Lucas had even the slightest desire to stay he could of hung on for a week, but no.
Either way he hasn't been missed and his replacement already looks better.
