Now, obviously there is always a risk with transfers so you may still end up with players 'stinking the place out' as you say but then its back to Brands to move the player on, freeing the funds.....and the cycle goes on.

I accept threat there are other opinions on this and respect those views. But I hold firmly to my own. The last 12 months of spending has sickened me. Not the amount, just the lack of rigour and professionalism in targeting players which would have added value and not seen us having to get shut for knock down bargain basement prices.

I honestly would pursue Koeman through the courts. At the very least I;d rip up any deal we had with him regarding paying his Dutch wages. That is a disgrace.

I'm with you on the whole Koeman Saga but the spending being done now is on the basis of assets being sold to provide the funds for the new assets. Obviously if Koeman had bought sound acquisitions then we would be in a better place right now. However, Brands has displayed a tighter plan than Koeman\Walsh ever did and that should bode us well for the future.

Would this have anything to do with the injury he picked up last season? The MOT would have been completed at the medical centre yesterday wouldnt it.. but maybe a second opinion/scan required? worrying.
