Even playing poor as our midfield was lacklustre - he at least put the effort in unlike Walcott who just does not blend with coleman or move inside - the corner flag moves more than him.......

He’s clearly got the technical ability and quality, I just worry whether he has the physique for the Prem. He is tiny.

It’s his 3rd game st a level he hasn’t played at ever before, the quickest and most physical league in the world , diet play for 6 months previously . Bad miss and should really have played Walcott in before he even went round the keeper, but, his quality is there for everyone to see and will come good

It’s not doing him any good being thrown in the deep-end, is it?

He’s pint-sized and needs time to adjust. It has been too easy for the opposition these past two games with him there.

Drop him and you have to put Calvert-Bambi or Tosun in up front and shift Richarlison out wide.

No idea why people beg for us to give the likes of Davies time but are already asking for Bernard to be dropped.

What side did all of their attacks come down? Our right.

Young hardly got forward at all because he knew he had Bernard to worry about, plus Bernard was getting back and working hard defensively. His final pass/cross/finish isn't quite clicking at the moment, but it'll take time. He played one brilliant throughball into Coleman that should have resulted in a chance.

He should be taking that chance which was created purely because of his skill, effort and pace.

But he looks like an excellent addition, albeit there's still some adjusting for him to do.
