Im not a huge fan of king, but Bernard offers us nothing really. And the manager doesn’t even bring him on when we are winning and have injuries. He won’t last Long at Everton now.
While king wouid be on less wages and can play left, central and even on the right. He’s got power pace. He’s not a world beater. But i wouid much rather have him as an option on the bench than Bernard

Continuing to pay circa £6m a year in wages to a back up player is stupid in my opinion.
....I doubt one correlates with the other, except financially. Ancelotti/Brands might or might not rate/want Josh King, i suspect we’ll know the answer to that soon.

The other difference is that for king a fee would be involved then how much would he want? For Bernard no fee okay wages high but at end of the day bet he is the cheaper option. So not comparable moneywise.

I’m sure King is on about 45k a week. He may want double That for 3yrs? So roughly Just a bit more Than what Bernard will get paid for sitting on his backside over the next 2yrs. And we could get king for 10mil. So if we got 7 for Bernard. It wouldn’t be a lot of difference.
It all hypothetical and unlikely to happen. Its just my opinion of Bernard. That he offers nothing and gets paid a fortune. And Being a bit light upfront I think wouid be a decent option

Bernard will end up costing us somewhere in the region of 30 to 35mil. That’s If we don’t shift him And he stays. Onkeyuru wouid have been on buttons and we sold for profit.
