The fuel prices couldn't do anything but drop.

They fluctuate in any case.

Next year the fuel prices will be higher than now, and so will food.

They dont go up on their own. Prices can go down and be regulated and fixed.

We just need supplies to be uninterrupted by idiot bellicose governments determined to push geo-political objectives at our expense...literally at our expense.

There's the beginnings of a chink of light for peace. Looks like the whole of the Donbas will soon be in Russian hands, with just a couple of small cities in its Donetsk region yet to fall.

That's been seen as the likely point that a ceasefire can be declared and proper peace talks emerge.

Hopefully wise heads are prevailing on the Ukranians to negotiate. They can demand some of their territory back and get assurances from Russia it wont object to EU status (I know they have already but that needs to be firmed up). But most of all: we can see an end to the blood shed of the Ukrainians.

I think for all the talk of a prolonged war, we might be nearing the beginning of the end in this conflict. The West may collectively talk a big game on backing Ukaraine, but individually their states want to get back to trading and consuming.

We now live in a society we’re the cost of production is not the determining feature in the price we pay; we live in a society we’re we pay what the market will stand. Recently this has been shown to be considerably higher than most people thought possible, this will now determine the cost of things into the future.
If we had a socialist government they would probably intervene but as there isn’t a socialist party operating in the British political system this will not happen in any meaningful way.

Wholesale fuel prices are falling but it's yet to be converted to prices at the pump (though it's being stabilised now). The current Tory Party is interventionist so just watch them try and hang onto power by cutting VAT out all together for example. The clown Johnson was outlining last week plans to address so call rocket and feather pricing.

Yes but he cut 5p per litre before and I never noticed a cut at the pumps. You can be sure if he cuts VAT on fuel he will get it back somewhere else.

Im not entirely convinced that Biden wasnt being Hawkish for this conflict? Same as they are doing with Taiwan.

Biden, is a Warmonger as was Obama and his bombing campaigns.

War is Money and the Yanks love em, even though their record in them is frankly appalling! But here we go again with a "regime change" plan that embroils all in its path in what in this instance could be far worse than any we have witnessed. What could possibly go wrong!
