So not a lot in it then and Beto probably ahead at the same point of the season.

That's overall minutes. League only is less for both - 736 to 580. Stracqualursi played 21 times, beto has played 20 so far.

Beto has played the equivalent of 6 full games for us but is being written off already. He scored a good goal against Newcastle and got an important goal against Fulham in the cup when we had looked toothless up to that point. I just don't get why he's been written off so quickly, but Calvert lewin is ok on a 20 game streak without a goal, and where his all round performances have not been good enough.

But at the same time you wouldn't play him. How will he ever change your mind?

He scored 10 goals in a full Serie a season. I think everyone needs to set their expectations lower. Just because he wore a Lukaku shirt as a teen wont make him score like Lukaku.

That said, I’d still start him at the minute.

I think Kev called all clubs in Europe and this was the only club that was willing to sell a player for zero money up front . And for that privilege we had to pay triple what the price should have been for him
