Thing is, if we sell him in the summer to recoup some of the £25m we have to pay, we still have to bring somebody in who is more effective unless Chermiti suddenly transforms into the real deal. Beto is what he is, a decent back-up striker but he’s never going to keep a fit DCL out of the side.

We wont get a cf on the level as a fit dcl is why i think is unfair on the lad. I do think he can get better. If we wanted to get a striker at dcl level would be up to 40/50 mill

….with DCL being fragile, it’s critical we have an effective back-up. He’s certainly better than Maupay in that respect.

I see potential in the the lad, nut he needs to respond to the good chances he gets presented with, and score.
Fair play he is getting good position's, and I think his first league goal will open his confidence.
Power and strength sort the timing and composure, he will cone good.

Crazy to sell chermiti is not close to be starting games, also El Bilal Toure has had so many injuries already at a young age. Cant get over people having ago at him or wanting to sell is crazy. Even if he does not score a decent anount of goals he could have a better season next year.

Hopefully it’s a case of ‘trying too hard’ as he’s got himself into goal scoring position, just hasn’t got the goals we would want from them.
Maybe once he’s a bit more settled it will come a bit more naturally.
Want the guy to do well as he doesn’t seem to be lacking in desire or commitment when he comes on.
