He causes chaos but we definitely need to upgrade him before the window shuts. Can’t have him as our starting and only striker.

Plus the fact he wants out.

Beto can do a job but he needs the anti-Beto playing behind him. Doucs is not doing him any favours.

Think their play styles are too similar, need someone a bit more cultured behind him.

I feel Beto’s more hungry in front of goal than Dom but not as naturally talented as a striker. It cancels the other out. So if neither is currently a great striker, the nod goes to Beto for being a disrupter and bigger physical presence. His mere size and strength over Dom caused that hand ball. Dom would’ve just been blocked out.

And we have looked miles better in the midfield since he came on. You can attribute that to Beto hanging on the last man and forcing them to hold the line. Brighton will not press as hard if they have a threat to get in behind.

Having one Bambi is fine to cause some chaos and make something of thing (like the pen today). But when you’ve got 2 of them in the attacking build up…it’s disastrous. Doucoure is much easier to replace with the players coming back into the squad. I’m still very upset McNeil will probably miss the season, he could actually pass

Clumsy, not very good at ball control, barge his way towards goal but hardly gets past the first defender, but if we put in crosses, it’s likely to find his head more often than DCL
