Big Friedkin Rebuild

well yes a chance we will

yes a chance we will

Only chance we sign a centre forward is if one leaves.

We’re not using another loan space or the limited funds we have to sign a 5th centre forward.

I also doubt there’s many decent centre forwards available in January anyway, nobody sells.

Starting upfront for AC Milan.

There’s not a chance Roma cancel the loan deal to then send him here.

Yeah, no.
Well the one thing I'm absolutely certain of is that we're going to have misses so it is probably better that you have a plan for how to deal with those when they happen.

For me you can spread, as a random number, 100m across 8 to 10 players or spend more per deal on 4 to 5 and have to give those 4 to 5 more on their contracts. You'll probably end up with the same number of hits but the misses on the cheaper players aren't going to hurt you as much as they'll be loanable and sellable while the expensive ones take up space because they can't be moved on.

I'm going to say this a lot I feel like, but spending more money does not guarantee more success with recruitment when you're in the spot Everton are in. You are not signing sure thing top level talents because if the player was that he would not be coming to Everton. We have to be smarter on all levels.

I had to read this three times (really!).

Perhaps one of the most American posts on the forum.

"Instead of signing the best we can with the money we have, lets sign loads of cheap players and more will be better".

Hot dogs, french fries, candy and pure fat will rot your brain.

Looks like they have told Dyche, that he can stay but improve results or he's out.

This summer is going to be very interesting
loans and frees? behave
I'm thinking PSR (should have said that). We won't be allowed to spend loads of money for what is nearly a whole team.

Yes we will obviously pay for some of them. But I would expect, we will make a few of main signings, then top up the cheaper options. Hopefully, there are few lads ready to step up as well.

I tend not to agree with your drivel, but on this occasion you're bang on

We did that with Walsh amd Koeman. It got us precisely here.

Whether you are spread betting or making fewer, bigger bets - the most important thing is that you get your odds right - otherwise neither will work.

If your odds are more accurate than the next guy - you are more likely to get value - Brighton and Brentford seem to do that well.

I'm not sure that the current Chelsea or Notts Forest approaches are going to last long if PSR continues and is enforced - I'm sceptical.
