Personally, my most incredibly depressing moment as an Everton fan was during the game (I think Villa) after the Blue Union published the meeting notes.

His fat head was shown on the screen and a LOT of people stood up and applauded him.

This was after approx 15 years of lies and dismal failure under his chairmanship during which he'd sold off virtually every asset the club had to maintain his grip on his favourite toy.

I can't really pick a 'best lie' as there are so many crackers out there. I think above all the others it's probably "Goodison won't get it's safety certificate renewed, not only is Kirkby free it's our only option." (paraphrasing of course, but you get it)

Those fans clapping his fat, useless face was utterly depressing. Far worse than any footballing 'Everton that.'

We as a fanbase absolutely have the success we deserve after so many applauded his lies and continued failure.

The only way he leaves is on a gurney. I'll save a nice bottle of wine.

The most depressing moment was when the BU was formed.

Gang of meffs.

Have no ill will towards Kenwright, I’ll thank him for getting rid of Agent Johnson but fact is prudency and having faith in Moyes despite poor starts most seasons kept us afloat financially. The minute Moshiri came in though, that should have been Bill’s swan song, even just staying until the end of the 2016 season for the bedding in period then going would have sufficed

Nothing more than a figurehead and someone who can chuck a few soundbites in.

Yeah he may go a bit luvvie but its better than our chairman going on about our best players mum doing voodoo.

Because the childish attention seeking thread was started off the back of a irrelevant comment Kenwright said months ago at the start of the year, that Phil McNulty posted as click bait on Twitter for no other reason then to troll dumb Evertonians and they took the bait.
Absolutely this. Nearly the whole forum being worked by McNulty of all people.

The quote from Bill is clearly related to our stance against the super League or possibly about how we handled covid. McNulty has dropped it now in completely the wrong context to push your buttons and it worked as per. Embarrassing that presumably grown adults have fell right into it.

I’ve never really subscribed to the notion that Kenwright is the root of all our problems, but he’s said some embarrassing things in the past which lead you to believe he hasn’t got a clue. I’m more inclined to think he’s a large part of the problem, but his influence has diminished in recent years.

I don't think it was childish or attention seeking I'd never seen this quote before and Phil McNulty only tweeted it a month ago I think it's valid to point out how delusional a person is who had run our club for well over 20 years as I think he only ever did one correct thing and that was appoint David Moyes that's the man who saved Everton from the ruinous years of Peter Johnson.

Kind of ironic this pointless thread was started around some irrelevant Kenwright comments being labelled bonkers and you've just come out with that.
This week weve lost a manager and some peoples take on it is to sulk about Bill again, amazing, Bill is the least of our worries and has been for 5 years
The Blue Union are nothing but gobshites
actually hung out with them on a few meetings all decent blues just because you are happy with the direction of the club don’t judge those who spoke out at the time

Just out of interest about us childish (I probably am) Evertonians who have taken the bait how many times have you posted on this thread instead of just ignoring it.
