Of course he does....I mix with 'showbiz' people every day of my life, and 99% of them love the limelight. Absolutely nothing wrong with that at all.
As an aside, the sperm whale makes the loudest noise of any living animal on earth...by all reports, their orgasms are tremendous affairs,,,Put him on the banks of the Mersey and a whale would make love to him.
Defo a blueHe’s no Evertonian.
That's why performers perform. It's insecurity and a need to feel from others that you're good enough... At least it is for me.
I don’t often criticise but he made a mess of the Silva situation, was late for that meeting Thursday and now he’s back in the media doing his theatre impression. Where’s he been for weeks, where’s his speech after the Derby?
He wasn't late, he got there before Mosh . They all arrived at different times, and in any case the meeting didn't start until Mosh had spoken to the players.I don’t often criticise but he made a mess of the Silva situation, was late for that meeting Thursday and now he’s back in the media doing his theatre impression. It makes me sad that the only way he’ll leave the club is when he pops it. Can’t even say his hearts always been the in the right place as without KEIOC we’d be playing in the BARR discount arena in Kirkby. He’s a weight on the club that needs to be shed ASAP.
Give the guy a break.
Its also a desire to be liked...basically a performer is saying 'look at me'. I had 20 minutes talking to Sir Ken Dodd about 3 months before he died, and as well as being an inspiration, it was obvious that the public persona of 'Ken Dodd' was 100% a rather brilliant acting performance. In reality he was well read(library of 30,000 books) highly intelligent and could speak with great knowledge about classical theatre. He said to me that he still(then) loved every minute he was on stage, hearing laughter from the audience. Bill Kenwright is an actor, and his public life is a performance. When he's at home with Jenny he's probably quite different. As I've mentioned before on here, I once nearly had dinner with BK, Tommy Steele and Laurie Marsh(?) Tommys agent/manager. Unfortunately I couldn't go, because the person I had been invited by had to cry off through illness. Pity..it would have been fascinating to see Bill in a 'theatrical' environment.....while I'd want to talk about Everton !!
