I was making a point about you saying ball being a bad influence, you’re making things up there mate
He never said that though. He said Dunne was a bad influence on Ball, which I personally know to be 100% true. Had him missing training, turning up late etc. A lot of it wasn't directly Ball's fault, more due to Dunne being an unreliable piss artist.

Used as an insult here for years prior.

Just let it go and don’t use it.
Given the disparity between our 2 versions of English, is there a list of no-no words somewhere I can see? It may be obvious to you but it isn't to me, and 1 has already cost me a temp ban.

I don't want to break any rules but it's hard if I don't know what's right and wrong. And I'm not talking about obvious ones.

As for Campbell, maybe he deserved 35k a week, but not a 5yr deal imo. And Kenwright would have been involved in the negotiations. He ended up paying about 25 games a season and averaging 1 goal in 3.5 games So it proved to be, not a great deal for the club in the end.

It wasn't me who said Ball was a bad influence! Ball and Dunne were shipped out as they were taking the pee according to some, something about a coach ride home? Dunne went on to have a fairly decent top flight career, Ball did nothing of note (he had injuries himself of course). Again though this was all before Kenwright was in charge and nothing to do with him anyway so whats your point?

Campbell can have the freedom of the city as far as I care. What a man, he also carried on playing through injury and ended up doing himself in. 1 in 3.5 games isn't that bad is it?

Again its not the chairman deciding that anyway. The manager wanted him, you back your manager.

Did he really prove vital? He did on loan, but that season had been and gone.
He got 12 goals the following year and only 24 more over the next 4 years at the cost of nearly 10mil in wages. Which was probably a fortune at the time for us.

Radzinski had virtually the same goals per game record, at the same time and was probably on a lot less money.

There is no comparison between them (I actually liked Radzinksi too...)

Campbell is a MASSIVE part of our history. He did start brilliantly the next season too when him and Jeffers formed a quality partnership, then he played whilst injured and was never the same player. You cant really account for these things.
