Generally speaking the internet is toxic. Folk become “brave” behind a keyboard and say all sorts of stuff they wouldn’t in real life.

By all accounts Bill is a decent fella.

Without doubt though, that is as much a comment on the failings since.

Despite the money being put in, the club has singularly failed 5 years into Moshiri's tenure, to appoint a chairman and, more accurately, board of directors with a mix of people with the right competencies for a club of our supposed ambition. On a corporate leadership level, we are set up for mediocrity and the net is not cast wide at all for anyone to come in to challenge the status quo.

got a reputation in the theatre world of being a absolute asshole in my experience. He cut every corner possible in his productions and treats his employees like crap.

As far as i can tell this idea that kenwright is a "nice guy" has came from bill himself.
 

There is a direct correlation between kenwright becoming a board member in 1989 and his subsequent rise to power at everton football club and evertons declined as a football club.

I always remember in 2009 when we took liverpool to a repley in the fa cup. Before the match bill was interviewed by itv and I remember him saying "I'm so very happy that this has gone to a replay because with the money made from this game it means we could afford to get a loan in the transfer window". I just remember thinking "lad! Do you want to STFU!!!" Hes a absolute embarrassment.

Also hes given his tickets away because he can't come the game anyway because he doesn't live in Liverpool.

He does oversee it though as Moshiri lives in Monaco and it's clear we still have a bit of a 'jobs for the boys' culture at the club which is 100% Kenwright. I am no fan of his for many reasons but i do think some of the criticism can be a bit OTT at certain times, i just think he should have stepped aside by now, He has had his time and needs to move on.

Heard similiar myself - think @Steve Wigan mentioned on Kipper years ago how Kenwright double crossed him over a production one time.

He recently got Carlo is as manager, didnt see people moaning about him then, likewise signing Rodriguez

Wind back a bit on this quite short subject, and you will find nasty and unpleasant comments such as
"As I say, he’s odious charlatan and we’ll be better off without him here.
Kenwright is like a turd that won’t flush
He has stained this club like a curry lover buying white undies." etc etc
If you do not find these sort of remarks "sick", then you are part of the problem.
