Can defenders of Billy Liar not see that he oversaw the decline of EFC in so many ways.

In order to become a Chairman of a major club you need access to money. He never invested a penny of
his own money in the operations of the club, he could not borrow because he had no assets and the luck he had was that Moyes managed the club on next to nothing and still maintained a bit of hope.

He cleaned up at the end when he sold to Moshiri and he is still in the photo. More Lucky Jim, I suppose, than Billy Liar,

Let’s not forget that Walter Smith recommend Moyes. Billy BS was going to go worth Gary Megson.

Who did you want to buy the club when Johnson was around?

Don't know how many shares he still has but basically these days Kenwright is nothing more than a pub landlord with his name above the door
not even arsed about him anymore

Wind back a bit on this quite short subject, and you will find nasty and unpleasant comments such as
"As I say, he’s odious charlatan and we’ll be better off without him here.
Kenwright is like a turd that won’t flush
He has stained this club like a curry lover buying white undies." etc etc

If you do not find these sort of remarks "sick", then you are part of the problem.

Huge part of the problem.

Posters get called worse on here daily.

The problems is not people hate the man the problem is that the man has brainwashed people like you.

Can’t believe you’re crying about him being called out

Criticism is valid, i.e. Bill has been a lousy chairman, or Bolassie is a crap player etc. It is not criticism which is wrong, it is expressing it in foul offensive ways about the person, which you would not dream of doing to their face. The guardians on this site probably spend too much time censoring common swear words and might turn their attention more to the type of comments I highlighted above. Not much chance of that I don't suppose.

He recently got Carlo is as manager, didnt see people moaning about him then, likewise signing Rodriguez
I'm pretty sure it was Usmanov and Moshiri that sorted Carlo out in Usmanovs London office. You might be correct but does'nt that just add fuel to the fire for the anti Bill brigade? because that means he is responsible for Koeman, Silva, Fat Sam, Walsh, Brands?
As for James, well i am fairly sure he had stated numerous times his desire to play for former boss Ancelotti again rather than his desire for 2 tickets to umpteenth production of Blood Brothers.

Hahaha have you read the ones back you quoted someone called him odious and you’re crying it in.

Behave, he is odious and a god awful stain on this club in my opinion.

He's right.

We've always said on here abuse towards anyone at the club will be moderated in the same way as it would towards another member.

Keep it civil please folks

Can you remember the mess we were in before he took over .

We were in dire trouble as a club at the end of the Peter Johnson period.

Bill Kenwright certainly had flaws and he lacked the wealth that was needed to push our club forward quicker but I remember the state we were in before Kenwright and certainly he substantially improved on that over time.
