And why do you think he feels the need to meddle and listen to leeches like Joorabchian? It's because he sees zero progress, despite having a board that's revered throughout football and a chairman who assures him he's absolutely the best man for the job.

It's a complete mystery why he's not fired him.
Especially when they've apparently been at loggerheads over the last two managerial appointments.

I'd love to know the terms that were put in place when this 'takeover' happened. We were naive to think that Toad would ever give up Toad Hall so easily.

Indeed, I think its fairly obvious now that there is something in place within the terms of sale that he sticks about until the stadium is built sadly.

he has avoided responsibility by surrounding himself with loyalists and spouting sickly sweet nostalgia in the hope of appeasing the masses.
And being rather successful with it to.

I can't believe Journalists sit there nodding along as he spins yet another tall tail and leave thinking:

."Everton are in good hands."

Hes a disgrace. He disgusts me whenever I see his face, hear his voice or read a quote.

The only thing that disgusts me more. Is Evertonians who are too lazy to really listen and think:

"This fella is taking the piss out of us here."

We're exactly where we deserve to be because we have a fanbase that accepts being lied to and accepts utter mediocrity throughout the organisation.

NSNO? No hope more like.

The stat doing the rounds about the 33 years since he has been on the board are eye watering. Obviously its only 23 years since he has owned us but still ?

Not clarified the numbers but league titles when Kenwright joined the board:

Everton 9
Arsenal 9
Man United 7
Man City 2
Chelsea 1

League titles now

Everton 9
Arsenal 13
Man United 20
Man City 7
Chelsea 8

Its an absolute disgrace when you see it written out like that.

I'm a bit nervous there will be something in the stadium named after him too. Hopefully not a whole stand or something like that.
I was worried about that up until this season too, but the one positive to come from this trainwreck of a campaign is that the vast majority of people have finally seen through him. People have finally taken a peak behind the curtain and seen the old wizard of oz for the total and utter conman that he is.

My experience in person is the opposite, his name comes into the conversation and most of the time , any criticism is met with surprise and disagreement.

yea, i was hinting at this way back in the thread, for years there seems to have been a huge disconnect between the Everton online community and match going blues who aren't online a lot. Sad to hear that it might still exist.

I used to get that a lot but personally I've been seeing less and less of it this season. Most of the people who I used to seriously argue with over Kenwright at the match now agree that he's part of the problem (or at least that he's not part of the solution). Even a few of the lads I know who loved the guy have started to say stuff like "he just needs to step aside now, for his own health more then anything. He'll always be a true blue but its time to step aside. Its the best for all parties at this point". The fact that its even reached this point is a colossal step forward imo.
