I used to get that a lot but personally I've been seeing less and less of it this season. Most of the people who I used to seriously argue with over Kenwright at the match now agree that he's part of the problem (or at least that he's not part of the solution). Even a few of the lads I know who loved the guy have started to say stuff like "he just needs to step aside now, for his own health more then anything. He'll always be a true blue but its time to step aside. Its the best for all parties at this point". The fact that its even reached this point is a colossal step forward imo.
If he really was a true blue he would put the club first not his own self interest.
I doubt he even now understands the damage he has done to the club as he surrounds himself with yes men and people massaging his own huge ego.

The stat doing the rounds about the 33 years since he has been on the board are eye watering. Obviously its only 23 years since he has owned us but still ?

Not clarified the numbers but league titles when Kenwright joined the board:

Everton 9
Arsenal 9
Man United 7
Man City 2
Chelsea 1

League titles now

Everton 9
Arsenal 13
Man United 20
Man City 7
Chelsea 8
Pity Lord Grantchester didn't want to buy the club back in the day. It wouldn't have been riches but we would have been run on a sound footing I'm sure with ego cast aside. And he would not have shamelessly tacked himself on to a new owner after selling.

Grantchester backed Johnson, It's a shame Granties wealth was all based on the land he owns not coin in the bank, his wealth on paper back then would of made a massive difference.

My experience in person is the opposite, his name comes into the conversation and most of the time , any criticism is met with surprise and disagreement.

I repeat that I really can't abide personal abuse of anyone - although I was interested in a Ukrainian priest earlier describing putin as satanic - maybe understandable.

I dealt with a complete bully of a manager towards the end of a long career.

I don't have any idea what Bill is like as a Chair but the evidence on the field is grim

He's lucky David Moyes came along when he did because outside of that it's been a disaster. He takes all the credit for Moyes but he's also the reason why Moyes could only "bring a knife to a gunfight" when he should have been kicking the club onto another level.
Yeah but bringing the knife to a gun fight kept us stable, rather that then Moshiris vision.
It was a bit crap flirting around the European spots and dropping to 11th, and winning nothing, but give me that over what's gone on post Martinez on Farhads watch.

Give me winning league titles under Kendall or the F.A cup under Royal because everything that’s happened since 95 represents abject failure regardless of whose name was over the door.

For all the talk about modern footballers being leaches etc nobody has made more money out of Everton football club than this man.
How much do you think some of the players get paid? What do you think Koeman walked away with? Or Farhads mate Kia? Do you think Moshiri only wants to brake even on his investment?

Go on then.... You can tell us how much they've all earned... and then compare to how much BK has earned from sale of the club that he acquired for a relative pittance? At present Moshiri would make a massive loss on his investment after paying for the shares and paying off the debts he inherited and starting the stadium and bankrolling the board's spending spree that added no value, but more debt.

Koeman? You cannot be serious.

The initial purchase of half of Kenwrights shares (half of 26%) in 2016 was about £25m, he’s now sold all but around 2%.

Let’s say he sold all his shares at the 2016 price reported (we know that massively underpriced but I’m just proving a point) that’s roughly £47m he’s made so far.

These figures are almost certainly going to be wrong like but they won’t be overestimating it at all.

Go on, who has made that much money from Everton, even in this day and age.

He acquired it for a pittance because it was a worthless mess when he bought it, unlike when he sold it, try and name your preferred buyer back then? Just try, you can't, because nobody would of touched us.
