I mean it could be that these "sycophants" are actually just expressing their actual opinion and actually believe what they are saying.

It's a mad concept I know.

I guess Lampard is a sycophant now too?
It may well be the case they are.

Lampard? Who knows. He needed unity and he got it. I don't think he'll be afraid to speak up in future. Clearly, he won't be a Mouronho/Conte levels of brass neck but I'd imagine he's up for a bit of conflict of he feels it holds him back.

Think Frank can be an emotional guy from what I've saw so far, wears his heart on his sleeve a bit and if things are going wrong, I feel he won't hold back and will say what he thinks.

It's really hard this issue with Kenwright & ex-blues at our club, but then it isn't. I get it - it's great to have people who love the club here, working for it. But it's crucial that we also have skilled people who can do the job. We definitely have enough money to pay well - at least promoting executives, coaching staff and Finch Farm staff with smaller PL or Championship clubs, if we can't compete with the Champions league clubs. We should be always looking out to improve our staff.
Big Dunc, Kenwright, Unsworth, Jeffers, Ebbrell, and some others, are unfortunately symbols of the mediocrity. Yes, they are blues, but they only have the FA Cup to show as experience of success, and we need to combine blue blooded people with skilled coaches who want to make a name for themselves. even if we're currently 'just a Premier League team' we are still a big draw for ambitious football staff (coaches, medical, training, physios etc). And now to work with Lampard & His staff, and a good group of 10-12 players in the first XI, at least 10-15 from U18-U23 are decent, good pay and good job prospects - we should be attracting excellent staff.

Our outlook is a bit old fashioned. It's easy to combine both love for the club with people who are not connected to Everton and BK and DBB need to understand this and either do it or quit straight away! Lampard is a great example - a big Chelsea man, but he's fallen in love with Everton, or at least knows how to deal with the passion, expectation and connection with fans at Everton.
I'd love the club to be staffed entirely by Evertonians.

Sadly, most that have tasted sustained success are nearing retirement age.

Forget Evertonian credentials, hire the very best attainable talent we can.

Yes, the best talent, and for the Everton credentials, we only need a few ambassadors, 2-3 on the board, and the odd Coleman, Cahill, Pienaar type person around and new talent can easily learn to 'get Everton'.

In his interview after the Palace game. Frank said the club needs to look at itself from top to bottom and I think people have indicated there's going to be changes. Anyone ITK what these changes might be.
There could be dont be suprised if Frank speaks well of Bill, dont forget Moyes never had a bad word to say about him. There does have to be changes, but i would expect people like Dunc to be going first and those closer to Finch Farm

I think the only person who can sort the mess out is Moshiri.
Lampard is employed by the club he can really only pipe up if people interfer with the football side of things.
We ask for the board to be sacked but does anybody really know who is on the board or what there duties are ?
I have lost track of who is on the board, as far as I know there is Sharpe, Baxendale and Kenwright .I don't know what any of them do or if they do it well (results would tend to tell us otherwise).
For a start would it be to much to ask the club who is on the board and explain what there duties are?
Do they have a say in buying players or appointing managers?
Was Tim Cahill brought in on the discussions of replacing Benitez and if that was true does that mean Moshiri has no faith in the people employed by the club? If that is true why are they There?

Exactly

Yep, or he's not given the tools promised.

Kenwright, DBB, Ingles and Sharp (non-exec)

They'll only tell us the board is 'revered throughout football'

Probably explains why they are the 4th best paid board in the league.

Apparently Lampard was the first appointment that has some semblance of committe agreement.

Cahill was reported by several sources as being heavily involved.

I wouldn't be surprised if he joins the Everton board after the Qatar World Cup.

I missed out Ingles who is charge of the finances apparently so that seems to be going well.

From Google

The Chairman is responsible for leading the Board and focusing it on strategic matters, overseeing the Group's business and setting high governance standards. He plays a pivotal role in fostering the effectiveness of the Board and individual Directors, both inside and outside the board room.

Caqn anybody produce one grain of evidence that BK has done this. His main strategy as far as I can see was to borrow off Philip Green and cause the club to live from hand to mouth. Staying in the prem has been the height of our ambition.

He's been a dismal failure in every way.

How he wishes football was still basically a bit of a hobby, deals done post match over a brandy in the boardroom. Save a few quid by diddling the gate numbers.

It's a multi billion pound industry and needs to be approached with the professionalism that demands.

He claims we're revered, he may actually believe it. I'd be genuinely surprised if most of our peers are not sniggering behind our backs.
