Without sounding awful mate, he's 78 and hasn't been in the best of health, according to himself for the last 20 years..

Newcastle were in the bottom 3 18 months ago, Aston Villa only just got promoted a couple of years back with Dean Smith as manager now are top 6 with Emery at the helm & Man City were a yoyo club once upon a time.

I wont judge your decision as I understand your disillusionment - its a chore going the games the past few seasons but football comes and goes in cycles and when the good times come back I think you'll regret sacking it off

I reckon a lot more than me think he meant well but doesn't really know how to run a football club, he trusted Kenwright with that for the most part, and put his money where his mouth is, and failed. Kenwright has also failed, before and after Moshiri, but he does contribute a great sad face from the directors box doesn't he? That and Dele Alli

Hoping for the top ten is what we have become since the seventies really. I know we had some success since then but we have NEVER established ourselves in the top tier since the PL began. Philip Carter was useless and everyone succeeding him has been. We are a museum.

One thing I do know, my only true ITK position is that Johnson invested but serious business problems forced him to cash in his chips. He gets a bad press because life got in the way of his real ambition for the club.

Why did we need Johnson out? What did he do to save us? Why was he better than Johnson? Why did nothing improve until Moyes? What were the good times compared to pre Kenwright?

Moyes was the bloke that kept us OK Despite the fact Kenwright gave him 2p to work with.

Tom, I went in the pen in the early 60's, I was a reasonably tough little kid from a Corpy estate in Dovecot. The pen was scary, a Kid like Kenwright would have been eaten alive in there, he'd have ran out at three quarter time, when the exit gates opened, but, unlike the majority of us who were escaping into the Gwladys, he would have been escaping to freedom in tears with no bus fare home.

The pen just wasn't the place for kids like him.

On Bill Kenright while not knowing him personally i have a connection through my brother in law who is his Uncle Frank's stepson having
married his mother.
It was his Uncle Frank who first took him the game and made him a blue,think the Uncle Cyril's handlebars referred to our more likely to be his Uncle Franks who was massive blue who i did get to know,he was a plasterer who gave me some cash in hand labouring work when i was skint.He done the plastering in the 1st house i bought even though he was retired by then.
I obviously knew his connection to Bill Kenwright though that became more relevant few years later and he sadly passed away in 1994.I didn't go the funeral but my sister and brother in law told me Bill Kenwright gave the eulogy and that most of it was based on him taking him the match memories and making him the blue he is.
My point is i get the vitriol towards him and the board,i want him gone as much as anyone,what i don't get is the he isn't an Evertonian,closet kopite,red under the bed nonsense,he's a deluded egotist,liar,drama queen.......but he is an Evertonian

I understand his reasoning and ultimately its the boys decision. If Ralphie has any blue friends/family in his circle however I hope they are pleading with him to reconsider as its a major decision.

The club wont be as it is forever and losing out on being part of a revival on/off the field in a world class BMD down the line is a shame after enduring the last few years of rubbish.

41 years I have had a ST so am not new to this supporting lark but it’s just finally ground me down.
