Even so - can you really say you're a die hard Blue but opt for a weekend of golf on Blundells Hill over getting that premium comfy seat at a rocking BMD ?

I get the lads disillusionment with the club at current time and of course its his decision but I feel he'll come to regret it in the long run which is a shame.
I would have agreed a year or two ago but now I fully understand anyone who chooses a different life then devoting it to this club, because I am seriously considering spewing it myself.

How can you question people given what the club is now? It's a Shadow of what it was

I understand his reasoning and ultimately its the boys decision. If Ralphie has any blue friends/family in his circle however I hope they are pleading with him to reconsider as its a major decision.

The club wont be as it is forever and losing out on being part of a revival on/off the field in a world class BMD down the line is a shame after enduring the last few years of rubbish.

New stadium aside, the single reason I haven't given up my ST is because i won't be able to get it back easily, could be years.

I do have hope that one day in a few years we can get our identity back and have a few nice years, they seem a million miles away at the minute though and a new stadium doesn't change that

Not to mention that red echo SAFE headline that he has framed on his office wall.lol

I’m I the only one who just gets really, really angry when I see his grill anywhere ?

Seriously it’s now cold fury and full blown contemptuous resentment for what he has done to this club

Never said I was sacking football off, just my season ticket.

I pay £600 a year for piss poor [Poor language removed], my golf membership is £800 and I can play every day, Everton don’t play any day.

It's also a great way to recreate the utter frustration of watching Mykolenko try to play football, when missing a putt from 2 feet, or shanking an easy iron shot straight into a lake.

Go down and this may well be the case, the implications of relegation are that scary!
Terrifying, and it’s all down to the utter incompetence of the board and the owner!
This 100%. Get yesterday out your system blues. That sick feeling after the match is reality setting in. Horrible isnt it. Its coz you love the club despite how you try to hide it at times. We all know who is responsible for this mess. **** them. I dont think ive seen a time where results on the pitch in the remaining matches will have such a massive effect on the future of the club. Theres so much at stake. Those players cant win matches without Goodison being a bear pit. This is your club. Our club. If you want those liars out of the club we must stay up. If you go the match take your anger and use it to support our team and intimidate the opposition. Its really that simple. We must win our home games. You do make a difference and together we will be the difference. Keep your heads up blues. **** the board. Back the team.

He said he used to be
Everton used to also die hard. Any team that beat Everton used to have to earn it big time.
Since mediocrity became the goal and failures at bigger clubs became the transfer targets, Everton have been rolling over for the smaller yet more ambitious clubs like Fulham and Brighton
At some point it is worth considering the time you spend at anything if it isn't giving back to you what you give to it. Time is the only irreplaceable commodity you own after all, and money doesn't come easily to most
I haven't given up yet, but I understand where he is coming from completely. It is depressing being a blue at times, especially when the minimum we ask is players to give 100% and don't get it. All we have now is hope the club can turn it round, but without any evidence to support the likelihood of that happening everybody probably should ask themselves if Kenwright's idea of 'good times' is worth the money and stress
The club needs to earn its fans and for too long now they have been disappointing and alienating existing fans
I can understand fully why someone would chose to not pay for that privilege

Newcastle were in the bottom 3 18 months ago, Aston Villa only just got promoted a couple of years back with Dean Smith as manager now are top 6 with Emery at the helm & Man City were a yoyo club once upon a time.

I wont judge your decision as I understand your disillusionment - its a chore going the games the past few seasons but football comes and goes in cycles and when the good times come back I think you'll regret sacking it off 👍
City's owners passed on us because of our ownership demands.
Likely Newcastle too
and there's no way Emery was taking on our mess of a club.
The good times aren't coming back as long as Kenwright is involved with the club.
(unless beating Leicester away in a relegation battle is your idea of a good time.

Kenwrights finished at the club - no chance he'll be here 5 years from now.

Other than that though it's been a slow, agonising and prolonged slide to the bottom. It's kind of ironic that it's looks like we're finally going down on the 25th anniversary of that Gareth Farrelly/Coventry City game.
That's the 10th of May. Think we'll be officially R'ed on the 14th after Man City. I'm at a wedding that day, so I won't have to be near a radio or tv to hear/see the words "EVERTON 0-2 MANCHESTER CITY (Haaland 26, Stones 72). EVERTON ARE RELEGATED."
