Bill Kenwright

On SSN after the current break. Went to the break saying Everton fans hit out at chairman kenwright after his latest, rather lengthy statement to supporters.
Be interesting to see what angle they come from, pro kenwright or pro fans

Keep your heads up blues. We are so close. Use his words against him. He has seen that the writing is on the wall for him.He is finished. Back the team. Sack the board. Dont let a person who accused us of assault and then writes something like that tonight break or defeat your spirit in any way. Its in our hands and thats all we can ask for at the minute. We have to keep going and going and never give in. Banish this ****
Back the team. I am giving Dyche and the players all my support until the end of the season. You will hear not a word of complaint from here on in.

Sack the board. However I condemn this board completely.

I'm not even joking this is the closest I've felt in my life to reading something from a delusional dictator. I've never seen someone trying to pull the wool over people's eyes so much with things that are so outside of reality.
Correct.
Chemical Ali in Baghdad proclaiming to the world that claims American tanks were in the city were false.
Meanwhile over his shoulder you saw the tanks with your own eyes.
Bill sits alongside him as an absolute buffoon.

You can't deny this man's love for his football club and his intelligence.

He's just riled up the supporters (who are fuelled by injustice - see any non-given foul by an incompetent referee for details)

Sacrificing his own name, knowing it was the fuel our fans needed to get nice and 'aggy' before a game.

A touch of genius.

P.S. @chicoazul asked me to post this on his behalf - internet bill wasn't paid or something.

I honestly wouldn't be shocked to see him start going to Anfield to watch the RS if he's finally forced out of here. He's narcissistic enough to see himself as a Bill Shankly type figure and want to repeat that old fools line of "I have been greated more warmly at Goodison then I am at Anfield" but done in reverse. Because it appeals to his sense of the dramatic. He'll want to portray himself as the selfless, deposed leader. There's a very good chance that he'll write a tell-all book attacking everyone involved at the club, especially the fans. This scumbag won't just go quietly into the night, no matter what happens

In December 2002 I had the misfortune to spend some time in Kenwright's company while in hospitality at St James Park before the Newcastle v Everton game.

An hour was enough to confirm everything that has been written in the last 20 pages or so of this thread.

It was quite clear that he was a narcissist whose only real interest was himself and self grandiose m and that Everton was a vehicle to achieve that.

He disgusted me that day and ever since.

I hesitate to use this phrase but he really is a cancer upon the club.

No one in their right mind appointments DBB a person without qualifications or experience of running a football club to the CEO of a massive commercial enterprise. You only put a patsy such as her in charge if she isn't going to scrutinise your own ineptitude.

No one in their right mind fails to exercise proper oversight of all aspects of the club - his responsibility as Chairman but he has.

No one in their right mind continually drives a wedge between the club and it's fans but he does because it suits his agenda to deflect the blame for his absurd lack of performance.

So, yes the end is nigh for Kenwright, no doubt , but he can and is still capable of a lot of damage as he burns the club to the ground.

There is definitely a book in there - was thinking that also.

Think most would be more interested in the story of the Kenwright years told by everyone else inside and around the club in those years but Bill.

Also when he says Frank rushing to celebrate with those that supported him the most
When Fans were literally falling over each other in celebration and relief on the pitch
Bus welcomes and sendoffs
Incredible away fans etc
But no...Bill and the board are the ones that make the most sacrifices in his deluded mind
I don’t think he saw the irony of talking about the above in bold…he talked of a celebration….at what? At avoiding Relegation - that’s the reason we want you out!!! He’s like the Barbara Cartland of Chairmen…..everything’s coloured romantically and rosy in the garden….it doesn’t matter the results.

I didn't think it was possible for me to have a shred of compassion toward Kenwright for the damage he's done. Turns out I was wrong. THAT is how poor the targetting of him over his health issues have been.

It's like his opponents in that movement are so infuriated that what they've tried so far has failed to formally bring down the axe on him they've lost all rationality.

It's beyond squalid.

I'd pitchfork Kenwright out all day, but I'd never be a party to that.

Sorry, but not in my name.

Moshiri will see him off in the summer either by the sale of the club or part sale to people insisting on a new boardroom.

There's some shameful stuff going on at this club. Right at the moment we need focus there's people who no doubt want to show how they can run this club better willing to shove a big 'kin stick into a hornets nest. I for one will never forgive them.

100%

If you're pushing 80, and have chronic and incapacitating health issues, you should quite simply retire from your job. Everton has made him rich beyond his wildest dreams. It's time for him to call it a day. I have no sympathy whatsoever right now for him.

I would only start to have sympathy for him if he were to stand down from his job and still be targeted thereafter.

It seems to me that there are 3 main positions that a person can stay in office until death.
The Catholic Pope, The reigning British Monarch and the chairman of Everton.
Not particularly in that order .
