Bill Kenwright

From 2004 - 2016 Kenwright struggled to get investment into the club, this was also when the city owners were interested in us before City, but because he wanted someone like Moshiri in where he could remain chairman is why the city owners moved on.

The guy is killing this club and will continue to do so, he needs hounding out

I’m no fan of Kenwright, but I think the focus on him is a bit misplaced.

Moshiri has the power to remove him and hasn’t.

Moshiri is the problem, Bill is just a symptom and symbol of decades of failure.
You might have a point but I’m not sure it’s realistic to expect moshiri to sell up mid BMD build.
So what else can change?
there’s a well paid board either making a litany of poor decisions or making no decisions and leeching money from the club.
either way, they should be changed and moshiri should commit to letting the new board go about it’s business with no interference.

Yeah Bill selling to.him has been an absolute nightmare, I agree, what's annoying is if he held on for 12 months with that massive amount of TV money that came in the club would of been in a much better place, if we would of sold 12 months later we could of found a better owner.
What part of Bill wanted to stay on as chairman so he sold to the person that would let him do so do you continually fail to get?

Kenwright always pleaded poverty - like it was a reasonable thing. Most bought it. Blue Bill, etc.

Peter Johnson and Farhad Moshiri - for all their many faults - actually blew the budget on Everton. Recklessly. But they at least spent money - disastrously in both cases, but spent nevertheless. They rolled the dice and failed. Kenwright never even got to the table. He was found begging, in a box, in the street outside the casino.
Peter Johnson and Moshiri had us in relegation fights.
Let’s not sugar coat incompetence

This is just the bottom line really. I don’t understand why there are unsure reaction emojis on this post. It’s mad how determined people are to not hold Moshiri accountable, solely because we’re building a new stadium that we can’t afford to pay for

With a post game sit-in protest scheduled for Saturday, what are the chances BK won’t attend ??
Chances are high. His ego can't take it. Perhaps you'll have to satisfy yourself with Tony Bellew shaking his fist and putting on an angry face from his comfy seat.

Kenwrights attendance has been sporadic at best this season. I forget which match it was but both he and Denise swerved it recently.

Poor levels of commitment for their circa 900k PA salary.

Get out.

What part of there was nothing wrong with him staying on as chairman since he had been doing the job perfectly well for over a decade do you continually fail to get?
Does the general lack of success not have any bearing? We’re the least successful big club, and that happened during his tenure.

Buying the club with a bank loan that he paid back by asset stripping the club selling the training ground and Rooney was worse than not winning a trophy imo. As was trying to move us to a Tesco car park in Kirkby and telling the fans that Goodison was going to fall down to get them to go along with it.
