Been surprisingly quite moved by all of the reaction in the press and stuff like theatres across the country lighting up blue etc to remember him over the last few days.
Likewise some of his previously unreported charitable leanings and personal recollections of interactions with him from fellow fans to celebrities.
Clearly a man with his heart in the right place.

Never let it be forgotten that the reason Bill wasn't able to attend Goodison in the final year of his life was because decisions were taken by people who told him not to take his seat at the ground one day as they were determined to peddle untrue stories about the fans.

Those people should have a heavy conscience for what they did to Bill Kenwright. They live with that forever. They turned a fanbase sceptical of BK into something much worse and poisoned his relationship with the club. We all know who they are.

RIP Bill.

Good post. There is a clear distinction between the man and the chairman.
He still deserves a good send off from us and I'm sure he will.

I agree with you wholeheartedly. He was a humble human being and a very kind and caring person. That is 100% bang on. But as a custodian of Everton Fc he was found wanting. Poor chairman that should have given up tears ago. He is partly to blame for the mess we are in.

I know he balled alot things up at our club, but got to say I've give him stick,but when I found out he passed away I got a sad sinking feeling like he was someone in my family.sorry but I did even tho he cocked alot of things up . just weird that's the way I felt a fellow evertonian has passed and that's all I can think . management and love for club can get mixed up maybe. RIP

I agree mate. I criticised him for many years but still felt gutted when the news broke. We all love Everton but we all have different ways of expressing it.
I have respect for every blue on-here whether we agree or not.
Buy Bill IMO was a poor custodian of our club. Even though he probably meant well.
