It's been coming since 2016.

Before that we were always in control of finances. The budget was tight obviously but Kenwright worked with the manager and pulled rabbits out of hats. That's how it should be.

I'm no Kenwright luvvie - he should have gone a few years ago for his own health if nothing else - but this has only been coming since the man at the top was completely out of control and decided to throw money that wasn't ours about on nothing. That only happened in the Moshiri era.
2016? Really?

Back in 2011 Kenwright admitted he'd begged the banks 'not to kill us', that's how much we were in control of our finances.

And that's before we go back to 2001 and the sale of Jeffers and Ball after the collapse of the NTL deal he'd promised and three years later when Rooney was flogged at less than his value to keep the wolves from the door.

Kenwright has been an absolute disaster for Everton from the moment he stepped through the door, sentiment aside.

Some are deluded. In life he ruined us. In death those around him and lauded by him refused to support this great club at the tribunal [Poor language removed] show. People on the make from great fans.

Ya' think...? Football's biggest blunder by a club in the modern era, IMO.
