The man was a total and utter disaster for this football club. Sure some deluded people might say he was a fine chairman, but the evidence suggests otherwise to quite an overwhelming degree.

I thought in the main the comments on here have been restrained and respectful. The guy seems to have been well thought of by those who benefitted from his generosity, was clearly successful in a professional capacity as a theatre impresario but was god awful for the club.
