Some perspective needed

Brum had 4 shot, yes, four shots on target today and scored from two. We had 11 shots on target and only four off.

Hart made some really good saves, but today we could and probably should have won, but their first goal was the killer for us.

Honourable mention: Jnr Yak, worked his socks off, scored a good goal. Posed a threat, but losing the ball and not trying to win it back, bad show.

Pissed off with: Yak, oh, lord what are you not on lad? Seems a real shadow of his old self. Needs to season to be over and then have a proper pre season

They do what they do, and do it well.

We cant play well for 90minutes....not even 60minutes. They're always organised.

We wont finish above them this season. Was their cup final at the end. Great result for them, gives them belief for Europe.

Well we had a great chance, and while everyone was ribbing me about Anichebe, he actually seemed to have had quite a poor game.

Yak and him are just lazy gets at the moment and that's all I heard from Sharpy, have to have this backed up by those watching it, but it seemed like there was little movement from either, and a little bit of attitude from Anichebe again.

Yak, I'd agree, he strolled through the match, but Anichebe in the same bracket? Not a chance in hell

Bottom line is that he really isn't good enough for Everton. One goal (albeit a great one) doesn't change my opinion on him.

Cahill contribute nothing as attacking threat and creativity. Even when we dominate early on, he had little or no contribution. We lack another ball player in the middle hence the huge amount of hoofing.

we scored two goals from anichebe and yak.

the problem today was at the back, and to some extent in the midfield.

strikers did what they did.

Howard, neville awful.

that is not how to captain a side.

well a point is good considering they have only conceded 8 goals at home till today , they are a hard to beat side just like us at home so not too upset. I think europe is a step too much unless we manage 7th as that will be the last place.
We need a new striker next season as vaughan , saha , anichebe are all injury prone & yak just isnt a 20 goal a season striker gauranteed !!!
cahill has had a poor season so far by his standards but mainly due to our injury ravaged start , but live in hope of europe , anyway brazil for world cup as I supported them from the 1970 wc & will forever , brazil / everton scarves where do you buy them lol

So he wasn't lazy today then? Graeme Sharp know's **** all then.

I saw the game on a good feed and Anichebe worked his socks off, except ONCE when HE losted the ball and didn't try and win it back. He just losted interest, but he was asked to play on the wings, he played on the wings, he put in crosses, contributed to the team and scored a goal.

Not sure what else he was supposed to do.

Don't really care what sharpy said, I didn't see a lazy player out there in terms of jnr yak.
