Don't underestimate the intelligence of a dog mate. They have evolved enough to pleasure themselves if so wish.

Quite proud at the moment.

Have you studied this particular phenomina up close?
Your Sally might have the capabilities to pleasure herself, but she's thinking of me when she does it. :P

Fans have and deserve to air their opinions on the team they love. They see them week in wekk out etc. Clubs should listen to them.

But, no fan will ever gain the expierience necessary of what it takes to play and manage at the level these people have. Its why I hate the questions on Moyes when ever he makes a selection! He knows the team better than me and see's them every day, I dont. I just see them once a week and if they have a bad game is it a fair reflection on the guy? I think not.

I have to say I didn't see much on the stream as it played up so much I read the reports from here. I know is seems as though I don't care when I make stupid jokes after a game like this but our comments don't make an ounce of difference to how the team plays the next game, so I just try to lighten the tension a little and cheer myself up at the same time. When you've supported the team as long as I have - 47 years and proud of it - and a lot of that time has been extremely painful, then things don't seem as bad as all that after all.

The way I look at it is, a top half finish, some more quality signings and no European games next year will help us do what we are really all wishing for - a REAL push for a top four finish and the start of a sustained period of being the No 1 team in Liverpool again.

I love this team so much it hurts, and writing this has literally bought tears to my eyes. Come on boys (and girls), let's just write this season off as unlucky and look forward to better days

I'm not saying he wasn't, but it seemed towards the end of the game we needed a goal, and we never had a striker on the pitch.

Cos Moyes dropped a massive bollock again with his subs.

Vic was playing well, but was injured and basically hobbling at the end of the 1st half.

So, in an attempted to win the game. He takes our 1st choice striker off and puts an injured Victor up front on his own. MIND BOGGLES.

Especially when Timmy Cahill, just back from injury, had done nothing all game. Played very deep and didnt back up any of the strikers....then injured himself.

I just couldnt figure it out.

Just wanted to point out the second post on this page of the thread.

As were talking about insulting people and everyone having an opinion as you seem to champion.

Back of the net, good call.

Fully expect BB now to do a full research on the forum, he will scour the interwebs for some dirt on you - there will be pie charts, some kind of Calculus will be done, papers everywhere, green stuff bubbling in test tubes, but he will get you on something.

You've opened the can, and now you must taste the worm.

Yeah well he's an enigma, that is for sure.

Totally agree, as much as I hate to say it, maybe a year without european football coul be a blessing in disguise.

Right. Ok. But my stance remains the same. If Sharpy who watched the game live, was there, breathing the same air as everyone else and not watching the game on some illegal stream, and he says that Anichebe was lazy then, and didn't move that ball then, then I like others are going to take his word for it, not a couple of no-marks on a forum are going to change that opinion for me.

Maybe I want to hear what Sharpy said? or maybe it's because I know that Anichebe is gash and the odd goal isn't going to change my mind.

Unless its about something else?

Erm Ghost, a word of advice, lay off the sauce before you post on a forum. particularly after a bad result. Makes you look a real tit, not that you are one of course. (y)(y)

I second that emotion.

Besides the Europa League is just designed to provide a bulwark against teams getting into Champions League positions in the league.

The extra 45 games a season that the Europa League brings we can do without, if we can push for the top 4.

But next season City, Spurs and Villa will be even further ahead of the game, due to our lack of money.

ANd I know I'll miss midweek games in far flung places. Well europe.

Also Sharpy moans at EVERYONE. He said Fellaini was [Poor language removed], berates Pienaar frequently, and doesnt like Yak or Vic because he thinks they're "lazy".

A large chunk of our good play came from the right, more so than on the left with Pienaar and Baines today. He did well and scored a good goal did Vic but was injured by the end of the 1st half and should'nt have played in the 2nd half.

And there was nothing wrong with Yak's game. He was litterally a LOAN striker with no back up from Cahill who disappeared when the whistle went.

Did Sharpy have a go at Cahill at all?

100% agree with that.

Also good to see that I'm not alone in my contempt for the Europa League. I think we'll benefit from not participating in it next season.
