BLOWING THE GOLDEN BOOT

It's mental. The best player and one of the best goalscorers in the world, yet people want to see him gone because 'all he can do is score goals'.
No one rational feels that way.

Honestly, he's going to be here next year and we should be thrilled. Can't wait to get some more talent around him.

It's all well and good Lukaku being good against average teams, if he had have bothered to turn up in games against the top 6 he would have had the golden boot wrapped up. Anyway if we have any hope of him prolonging his time here it's best he doesn't win it, as it will just boost his ego further. All I want is an away win against Arsenal we haven't won there since before Moyes time, there's one final game this season to show Lukaku and the rest can perform against a above average side.

I cant believe the attitude to our most prolific scorer for decades.

If every player we signed stayed with us 4 years, became the best in the PL at what they do then leave for a £50M odd profit on his purchase price we'd have won titles by now.

They'll be crying in their ale when some no mark the Dutchman signs up to replace him cant hit a cow on the arse with a banjo.
Said it beautifully. I remember Boro fans when we bought Yakubu tell us he was lazy, poor movement, all he does is score goals etc. They replaced him with some Dutch scoring machine who couldn't score in the Premier League. They haven't been the same since. Scoring goals is pretty important if you want to win points.

It's a curious thing the modern fan. You're witnessing the best striker Everton have had for 30 years but because he's not kissing the badge and has ambition you're hellbent on discrediting him.

Some of you have serious, seeious rejection issues. I genuinely fear for you in relationships unless you get them sorted.

Don't want him gone, although he is going to go. Would be over the moon if he re-signed and was actually happy to be here. I love his finishing. He needs to work on the rest of it...a lot. His work ethic doesn't jive with Koeman's expectations. Could be " an immovable object vs irresistible force " type situation.

Before Walter Smith's time as well, I think.

1996 wasn't it?

Kane goals versus the top 6 = 3
Lukaku goals versus the top 6 = 3
