BLOWING THE GOLDEN BOOT

Lukaku could, like, score a few against Arsenal y'know.

It's possible.

I also think the stick Lukaku has had this evening from blues on Twitter is really bad.

You are right. He should be suplorted as he has been a terrific goalscorer for us. When troy deeney is up front next year and scores 8 for the season we will realise what we will miss.
Some feel that lukaku uses the media and courts other teams. His recent little outburst on reporters to stop asking him about his transfer was suprising as he has been more than happy to flirt with them for the last couple of years re bigging himself up in relation to transfer talk. His agent doesnt help with the 99.99 % rubbish and so i would understand that some feel he has no affinity to the club and is already a chelsea player. I presume thats why they have a go on twitter etc

For me ill think his goals will be near impossible to replace. Not his overall play. That can. But he is a goal machine and will bang 30 a season every season with top players around him

I think the negative comments on here are understandable, lets face it, he has taken a giant dump on us every chance he gets. This despite the Goodison faithful singing his name whenever he scores. If he'd have shown a little respect he'd have got it back.
However, although I think the comments are understandable, I'm not sure they'll help with regard to him staying.

Nothing will help in regatd of him staying. He's gone mate.

...Lukaku however just scores 24 goals and provides 5 assists....half of Everton's total goals for the season.

I wasn't suggesting that he hasn't had a very good season, he has, I was simply saying Kane deserves it more, which he patently does.

As I have said before Kane is far superior in every way to Rom.

I think what frustrates me most with Rom is if he isn't scoring he doesn't seem to contribute a great deal . He is a wonderful forward when scoring .

With Kane and other elite forwards, when they don't score they contribute in more ways. Through build up play, bullying defenders, working the full backs or bringing others into the game.

It is noticeable the media in Europe are keen on Rom going to Chelsea yet most of the media within the U.K. believe he should stay and Everton is a good fit for him. It's probably because they see his failings as much as we do and see the likes of Morata as better ideal.

I like Rom but if you wanna be the best in the world you need to drag your team through games when the going is tough and he simply doesn't do it enough. Elite forwards do more than simply score goals.

If we were in the elite position of Chelsea then I genuinely think as a fan base we would be preferring other forwards to him. He suits us because as a club we're not yet elite again, similar to him.

Couldn't agree more mate.

Only time I remember him dragging us on his own the same way most top forwards do was against Chelsea last year.

Watching Kane last night, covered every blade of grass, continually busting a gut trying to get on the end of everything, watch his movement and effort for Son's goal. I was gushing over his performance to the wife, she was not getting it though.

Basically, Rom ONLY offers goals, the greats Aguero, Suarez, even Kane and dare I say Vardy offer so much more than Rom who seems to be happy, standing still, waiting for the ball to fall to his left foot.

Can we attract Aguero, Suarez or Kane? No.
Vardy we could but give me Romelu all day over that rat face..

There's the "for Lukaku" faction and the "against Lukaku" faction. It's always amazed me that those who are "for" him, are worried, that by criticizing him, the fans who are "against" him, are in danger of driving him away.

News Flash!!! You could cheer 'til you're hoarse. Clap until your hands bleed. It's not now, nor has it ever been a factor in his staying or leaving. He's been leaving since the day he arrived.
