There should be a place in the new stadium for a Liver Bird, it is part of the history of the club and should be represented. However it was a emblem which was replaced and is no longer part of our present or future. So, the Liver Bird should be in the stadium in a way which reflects it's importance as part of our story.
This stadium should represent a new era, we shouldn't even be concerned about our neighbours we should be concerned about beating the big clubs in the country like Chelsea and Man City.

Yes. And a mural of this on the side.

Dear me.

No, nay, never. I'd rather have a 'kin emu emblazoned on the side of it.

It is there's. They're welcome to have the ugly get too.

All for reclaiming it.

What other city with 2 big clubs has one have the nerve to take the name (without a united, athletic, city etc postfix) and crest of the city? They're just the biggest Teds going.

Our first league winners medal.

Ok. Don't do it for any reason to do with them. Do it because it's part of our history. We used it before LFC and before we used Prince Ruperts Tower, and it's also the symbol of the city.

Whether or not it's a big feature of the stadium I really think we need to reclaim its use in some way but I realise that a lot of you disagree...

Just because some young upstarts have tried to hijack the emblem as theirs, doesn't mean that as a point of history, we shouldn't take it back.
In 40 years, nobody will know the difference as BT Sports League Uno will have reinvented footie history again.

I said in another thread that I think it would look boss if we had TWO BLUE Liverbirds on the new stadium kinda like the old towers used to dominate the old wembley stadium, I can most certainly understand the objection to it from some fans, but, BUT, considering %$&$&^$& over the park use it and it is synonymous with them, It is a worldwide known symbol, and would certainly draw some media attention to this fact, THUS, increasing our marketing value abroad, kids growing up may well be aware of the Liverbird on liverpoools crest, I wouldnt want it as our club crest though, I like it just the way it is, but having the Liverbird(s) on our stadium would create some storm, I'm repeating myself a bit now, but we do want to increase our marketing potential, this is one sure way it would help. 'FOREVERTON'!!!!.

So we build a beautiful sea side stadium, and then place a symbol of LFC on it?

Where is the logic?

A big Everton Tower to let everybody know whose home it is.
