Why haven't the BU found a buyer for the club instead of messing round with meetings and talking bout redevelopment ?

The BU have already suggested how a buyer can be found - by doing what WBA have done, employing an actual firm of professionals to seek out qualified and genuine buyers. The club won't agree to do this.

No Board in the world would do it, its simply not feasible under any circumstances.

In what way do you think it's unfeasible mate if you don't mind me asking. Redevelopment would cost money of course, a new stadium would cost money if we relocated. Do you think leaving GP for WHP ( if the opportunity did come up ) would be best for all concerned and if so why. There's only about 4 questions in that little paragraph isn't there lol

Would be People who fly over for the match

The model with the hotel has always been wishful thinking mate, it's not a sound business model.

There is nothing new to see here, these plans have been around for years, they have been unreadable for about as long. It's a reboot today in an attempt to make the group relevant. Wasn't there a video and everything.

Circles all over the shop here, now the agenda is to stay at Goodison rather then WHP.

What a steaming pile of turd.

Another defeatist attitude, determined and seemingly happy to keep us mediocre without giving any ideas a chance, or knocking the obviously incompetent status quo.

Plenty thanks. But this isn't the ijjysmith Union thread.

My question was honest. I don't know what they do.

Is that ok?

Meh.

They try to make ignorant people open their eyes to incompetent people running things very badly. Whilst also now suggesting solutions, something their opposition have long demanded. It's a very tough on-going battle, evidently.

Not when most supporters refuse to even listen to what they have to say.

For years the board's supporters have said "come up with solutions instead of just moaning." Well here we are, they've come up with an alternative and are presenting it for everyone to see.

What's the response? "Bake a cake and throw it at Kenwright's door." Jesus wept, it's an uncomfortable truth that when it comes to our board most of our supporters are just completely clueless and refuse to listen to facts.

With respect mate it is this type of response which makes it difficult for many to offer support to BU.

Surely BU should be doing everything in its power to gather support rather than ridiculing the very people whose support you need.

So if you stopped the us and them attitude with fellow supporters you might find it easier to start communicating your views of the Board and most importantly your plans to help bring about change.

Every Evertonian wants to see the club improve, be stronger, more successful etc etc - the fact that BU has difficulty in gaining the support of the majority says more about how BU have acted and communicated than it does about the bulk of Everton's support.

Im no expert, but ive heard quotes are around 200m for a new stadia.

The foundations under Goodison are 120? years old, the plumbing, every single brick, no way does most of it even get past planning, they seem to think it could be done in phases while keeping the ground open, its ok if your just sticking a tier on say The Park End, but anywhere else and im telling ya, it cant be done. It will cost a lot more than 200m.

Look if these lids think it can be done, fair play, but for all the plans, I havent seen a single figure about how much it will cost.
