Kipper was alright. The extremists in the new stadium thread were a bit OTT and the thread where they hunted down a lad with pictures taken from car park cameras and pics taken in the road was a bit harsh to say the least. There were however some really good posters who had obviously supported the blues for a very long time and would speak their mind.......

It was a bit like going out to the now closed old Bluebell in Huyton on a Friday night (for those that know), great beer but could be a bit on the rough side.........

The forum invasions were classic , some poor random forum for pigion racing or something would get invaded by hundreds of blues the date one was brill you just had to lol

Saturday night in the Everything Else forum after a night on the beer was usually entertaining to be fair.

I used to love the fact that a thread could not go onto the second page without either turning into an internet fight or completely changing subject. No 'stay on topic' lads in them days.

I still think it would have survived as a forum if the site owners really wanted it too but the ridiculous effort they brought back showed they either didn't care or couldn't be bothered with the hassle it brought.

@Moomin I thought it was proved Reni/Kangaboy was an alias?

Reni was real, 100%. He started LASH with a few others. Then disappeared, had a few chats over emails from him years ago.

Standard for every boozer in huyton up to a few years ago. Can't think of one i'd take me bird, maybe the crofters?

Crofters and the Stanley were fine in my eye, didn't step inside the bluebell and only went the Rose and Crown during lunch to play pool.
