Kipper was alright. The extremists in the new stadium thread were a bit OTT and the thread where they hunted down a lad with pictures taken from car park cameras and pics taken in the road was a bit harsh to say the least. There were however some really good posters who had obviously supported the blues for a very long time and would speak their mind.......

It was a bit like going out to the now closed old Bluebell in Huyton on a Friday night (for those that know), great beer but could be a bit on the rough side.........

The forum invasions, bookies thread, prank calling Pete Price and when they set that lad up on a date were ace.

I think Danyul was the German lad who got a load of stick. Seemed a bit of a whopper to be fair.

Originally Bluekipper was a good forum the server it was on was useless any big Everton news used to clog the bandwidth up and was impossible to get on there.. it had it's cliques like most forums were one sheep says bahh and others join in i joined there when the original official Everton Blue room closed down after a racist meltdown, mostly i only visited the place on match day to see if there was any streams for the match ..then it got hacked & closed then the official blueroom opened up again not sure the reason why it closed again maybe uncle Bill thought there was some sinister propaganda going on in there then Kipper again opened up but it was like the Mary Celeste

Some bell hacked a mods account and banned all the other mods, they then proceeded to appoint their own admin and systematically destroyed the forum, changed the logos to skull and cross bones, the lot. It lasted for about a day before the owners managed to take control of it back and they then closed it. Everyone went elsewhere and by the time they brought it back it was too late. It's finished as a meaningful forum now.

There were some classic threads on there, one in particular, FAO ex hoolies, was full of tales of escalades from aways in the 80s, proper scall stuff, some names got posted linked to some very dubious activities and it got pulled, never to be found again. Bit of a backlash over that which I reckon sparked it off.

Had its moments but you could tell when school had finished....

Two of my favourites were the JJB Thread and the ChaCha chat thread. Some brilliant stuff in both of them. Shame it died although it was rubbish at the end.

I liked Bluekipper I found the humour on there brilliant at times sure there were some knobs on there but you get that on all forums, to be honest I have never laughed as much on any other forum as I did on there.

great thread that one not just the scally stuff, the real start of scally fashion(not the bollocks spouted by lfc on euro tours), clubs pubs and a brillant section about everton are racist , with former everton lads and black and asian blues having a exchange of veiws and questions, that was a real eye opener for some, and an honest account, they all got on great by the end of it.
They should have just deleted the posts they didnt like,as loads just stopped posting after it went, and the number of veiws it was getting should have told them that it was a bad idea.
At the end i wasnt really going on it was getting that way you knew what was going to be posted same stuff over and over again, and a load of knobs thinking they were something else.
There were a lot of club people on there at the time as well.

Yeah agree with that, some of the funny stuff was awesome. There was also a lot of people using it who went home and away and a wide age range.

I do think Kipper had some users for who Everton wasnt that important, and were just into being on a popular forum...etc Which might of helped the humour, i dunno.

One thing i didnt like about it was there were a few users who went a bit OTT if they didnt agree with your view on certain things and would turn into warriors, calling you a stupid C ...etc This place is much better for being able to stay friendly with those who you dont agree with

I swear to God my mates were in the Huyton Park the other week when someone fired a shotgun at the ceiling then ran off. Apparently no one left and hardly anyone even looked up from their pint.

The Crofters, The Stanley, The Rafael and The Wetherspoons are all sound like, never any bother.
