Yes, I sometimes use that one...Tell 'em they're only our "b*****d offspring, should work
(I am a wool and proud) my options were either of the scumbags in red or Everton.
That takes me back.
Stop denying it. I’ve seen the photosThey looked cool in the sticker album. They played in blue which suited me cos I was a lad.
shut your trap TraceyStop denying it. I’ve seen the photos
Pretty similar here in Oz. The aussie born RS fans are terrible and usually have no idea why they support them.I was referee at my lads youth game last season. I had a quick chat with both coaches before the game and the opposition coach picked up on my accent, asked me if I was red or blue (in hindsight with some apprehension in his voice). When I said Everton his face lit up, he was also a fan. Helped me through a couple of dodgy decisions lol.
I've found that is pretty typical here. There's quite a few blues and I've had a few good chats in the club rooms over a beer. Even other clubs are pretty good (if they are ex-pats). But kiwi born ones tend to be uneducated- I've been asked what part of London Everton is from by a kiwi Arsenal "fan".
RS are a different matter. Tbh the ex-pat RS I've met are good lads. Happy to have some banter but are also remarkably respectful that I'm a true fan and not a Man City/Chelsea etc glory hunter. Kiwi RS are an entirely different beast, Culltists of the worse kind and to be avoided at all costs.
And absolutely no idea of their "history".Pretty similar here in Oz. The aussie born RS fans are terrible and usually have no idea why they support them.
