We've had about a million draws, stop accepting mediocrity.

We're 5th in the league, still in touch with 4th and now in the 5th rd of the FA Cup. We've lost 3 games out of THIRTY THREE. Yes we've had too many draws, but we've also had a LOT of wins.

How exactly is that mediocrity? And what exactly would you class as NOT mediocrity? Winning the league? Presumably realism doesn't factor into your world view. Exactly WHAT are you expecting us to be achieving, given the paucity of resources at our disposal?

Boom hardly mediocre is it?

not losing though. no team can play brilliantly through a whole season. as long as we keep picking up the points and cup wins, when we finally hit form again we'll be laughing

That's masking that we should be playing to a general higher standard than we are, with the players we've got. This is not a terrible side but our avg. play, in large spurts, is worrying. I don't know if they're gassed or what, but it's the general level of play that has me worried, not that we're not scoring 3+ goals a game. The baseline is poor, I can handle other things not coming off.

If we hadn't had drawn as much and had been winning [especially against teams we SHOULD be winning against ] we would be comfortably 4th.

whats your opinion on 3 defeats in 33

tell us how many wins in those 33 - not losing does not win you anything - only by winning do you get to the top -
a mountaineer can say that he only gave 3 steps backward in his last 33 - but he might just then have gone 1 forward because most of the others were sideways
tell me - are we playing well for the last month or so? - do we look like a winning side or are we scrambling results?

players having a pop back after being abused by some fans for the past eight years isnt something they should "immediately apologise over", ffs
