Welp. Just back in Rome from cinque terre aka my future home.

Absolutely fell in love with the place and have the photos to go with it. Think I got about 20gb worth in 2 days. Will take some time to sort through and edit them, but I'll have them up some time this week!!

Bilbo, as always, lovely shots of the sparrows from the weekend!!!

Alright. Had an absolutely boss weekend hiking around the Cinque Terre and enjoying the villages there. Was an amazing spot with great weather, food, locals and combination of hiking and ocean.

Promised I wouldn't go overboard with the pictures, but I might include a few too many. Sorry about it.

In that one you are looking at Corniglia as you are coming from Vernazza and Manarola is in the background, which is the next village of the 5.

This is Vernazza as you come down the hiking trail from Corniglia.

Vernazza from the hiking trail down from Monterosso

Favorite one is last as usual. A shot across the bay towards Monterosso and the beach there.

This place was wonderful. Definitely where I want to live (however unrealistic it is). Fell in love with it after 20 minutes and was thinking of ways to get back there. Never got sick of shooting photos here, drinking the wonderful wine, enjoying the delicious food or just walking around. My personal paradise.

Hope you enjoy! :)

A few birdies from today, all taken with the Sigma 150-500 OS HSM lens:

Not had much chance recently, but I am now on a weeks holiday with trips to Longleat Safari Park, Brownsea Island as well as a few out and abouts so hopefully a chance to get some decent stuff. Also teh weather is looking really good as well.

Great pictures above as usual.

Just home from Perugia up in Umbria. Beautiful part of the country. Should have photos up sometime soon.

Hope you lot are all having a nice weekend and get a chance to get out in the world and get some shots in!

This morning - dull conditions.

ISO 500 on the 150-500 hand held. No noise reduction.

Also got a "Fail" shot - as this was meant to be of the bird sitting on the fence, but it flew down. So wrong shutter speed and no intention of getting this. I have cloned out a clematis as well which crossed the blue tit and the centre of the photo from bottom to top! Just to prove that there's many shots that don't usual make it into the public domain!!!

Sorry bout the quality but i was using my phone. Does anyone know what those little bugs are?

They keep crawling around on my windowsill, no matter how many times i get rid of them they still appear.
