My first SLR was a Zenith 12.35+ years back I had a 2nd hand Zenith SLR; never in my wildest dreams would I have expected to be someday taking photos with a mobile phone. Anyway, here's the last photo I took of Princes Park lake with (I think) Mansions in the background.
My first SLR was a Zenith 12.
Proper tank of a thing.
Oh aye, the metering was rudimentary.I can't recall the model I had (maybe Zenit E), just remember it was silver with a massive light sensor thing across the front. Never known anything so 'square' and chunky; it could take some punishment as I recall
Some photo that with its silk in shot. I plan on getting a macro lens but probably not as pricey as the one you used for thisSpider taken outside tonight (very cold in the garden). I think it's Araneus diadematus.
This was taken on a Canon EOS 70D with my LAOWA Venus 2:1 macro lens, with a Youngnuo ringflash head attached to the body of the RF unit. The lights are covered by packaging foam and the plastic from a milk bottle - and then across the front is a sheet of Vellum tracing paper 150gsm to soften and spread some of the light. Settings: f/11, 1/250sec, ISO 100. View attachment 108881
