So what you see here is the remains of an aphid, it's body attached to a podium created by a braconid wasp. This tiny parastic wasp finds a target host and deposits an egg inside it. This egg will be dormant until the host is big enough for the larva to hatch and then the wasp larva feeds on the insides of said host.
Eventually, the parasitic wasp will emerge and fly away and so nature goes on...

I find spider mites challenging - they are nearly always on the move and not very big...

What a lovely surprise off the wife. I knew I was getting this nice lens but she surprised me with a new Canon 90D, possibly to stop me talking about itlol the Image quality of my photos will now go to another level. I’ve loved the Canon 2000D, it’s been a great beginners camera and I’d recommend it to anyone, but this 90D is superior in every way.
Awesome m8, I'd upgrade if I could!

Thank you Paul, I’m waiting for the battery to charge lol can’t wait.
To be honest she knew I was keen on getting one so a nice surprise.
Great for low light with the fantastic sensor so I can put the iso up and still have a fast shutter speed.
I’m not keen on the automatic setting or the priority settings, I learned in full manual and I’m glad I did. It feels like your own shot when you’re totally in control.

I shot with a 30D for the longest time, great little camera with a great little sensor. Enjoy it!
I've been handed a Zenit 3M, and just had a Helios 44/2 58mm delivered.
It's honestly a really lovely camera to handle, hoping to go out at some point this weekend and do a roll of Kentmere 400 in it.
If the weather is nice, I still have 15 shots of Kodak Gold in the FED-4B that I can go through too. Really looking forward to it!

Green alkanet, although pretty with its delicate blue flowers, can be invasive in a garden. In the wild, you will come across green alkanet in scrubs, hedges and on river banks. The first half of the Latin name, Pentaglottissempervirens, means "five tongues" referring the five petals on the flower, whilst the second word means "evergreen".
