Chip Shop 2000 on Slater Street and Wade Smith with the climbing wall in the middle of it.
Yeah remember Chip Shop 2000.... they were in the small "Palace" shopping arcade on Slater Street if I recall. They did feature some cool imported Japanese games and merchandise. Always overpriced though.

Sexy Rexy on Church St. They used to have a bin outside stuffed with cheap shirts and stuff. All the kids would be fighting to get in the bin🤣 for a bargain.

Gansgear in St John’s precinct was pretty good for trabs and stuff.

Probe was the best for records and just hanging about trying to look moody.

Gold Rush on Lime St too, facing the precinct.

They were the first to sell Israeli parkers in Liverpool, ps don`t tell Dave.

3G Sports(?) Off Williamson Square. Used to get the AC Milan kit for a fiver in there lol

Does anyone remember the name of the shop where lids used to get Rockport from mid 90s. I say shop, it was like a sailing rig out place, I have memories of it being down on the front or one of the docks, no one I speak to seems to remember it so I may have dreamt it.

It was called Lambs Sail Makers.

It was like an Alladin`s cave for gear, they sold Helly Hansen in there, when it was only worn by people who sailed.

I used to get my windsurfing sails / gear repaired in there.

I was gutted when it shut and moved onto the Wirral.

Well in mate thats the one!! Glad I'm not losing it. Surprised more people I've spoke to don't remember it.

Wasnt it officially called JP Lambs Sail Makers or something? Also was it down by Brunswick originally? I have vague memories of it being there.

Spot on, it was where the Formula One hotel, or whatever it`s called now is, just over the road from the police HQ.

I used to love going in there for a mooch, as it was like stepping back in time when you walked in.
