Didn’t watch it and probably not going to either knowing the score……. Genuine question, did the formation & tactics seem any different to the cup game?

Much the same really, a toothless attack, a poor defensive set up and overrun in midfield. In both games I could see no tactics so I'm afraid I can't answer this one. One good move from Lampard was to throw a genuine, aggressive, powerful striker on when the game was dead and buried who actually changed the game for us in a big way in the pathetically short cameo he played. Poor Frank mustn't have known he was on Everton's books.

Knocked out of the Cup by Bournemouth in humiliating fashion.
That "Goodwill" vibe I had 2 months ago has turned into a knot in my stomach.
I do still think there is time for Lampard - and I honestly hope he gets some - but he has to shift his approach with the players from being a "Coddler" to a "C**t".

Just seen the score...and of course I am very disappointed. But I predicted a 2-0 loss (and wrote so, in this thread), so I am unsurprised at the outcome. But regardless of Everton's parlous performance, I awake this morning happily hungover after watching (and celebrating) an amazing game of rugby between NZ and England in the women's rugby ...what a final and what a thrilling game!

Mate they weren't guttless, just not very good at football. Overpaid? Very much so but that's the board and DofF's fault. Nope this team give everything but fall way short of being anything approaching what we had under Moyes.
