Frank's in his comfort zone as he can hide behind the lack of quality of the squad, different story when managing Chelsea, where his ineptitude was exposed.

seen it so many times over the years "it isn't good enough" yet they put on another crap display the following week

I was full on working today getting my kitchen prepared for levelling tomorrow. I’ve had an absolute nightmare coupled with working a nightshift so put the game on but was working. I seen snippets and thought the ref let them get away with a lot. To be honest if the boot was on the other foot I would have applauded my team for showing the same tenacity. I cannot comment on the game fully because I didn’t see any of the goals. But the thing that worried me was the lack of fight and I honestly do not know where we go from. Do we twist again with yet another manager or do we stick and hope we can regroup. I can’t believe that was the same team that played palace 3 weeks ago. Again the fans have an absolute right to be annoyed and they are the best in the country in my book and that not been biased, but it’s a double edged sword im sure the players want to win but can’t hack the pressure. Half of our players aren’t mentally strong enough and that’s too many at this level. Frank Lampard had to shoulder a portion of the blame too here.

Encouraging that he doesn’t mince his words about the way things are at the moment. However, Coleman has done similar on a regular basis and nothing changes. Hopefully today could be a watershed moment. Oh and we need some creativity and someone who can at put the ball in the net every now and again in the January window
