Totally disagree. I'm not sure where the idea that Holgate was a good ball player came from but most Evertonians have bought into what is ultimately a myth. Keane isn't exactly great either but he is better.

Pretty good composure and pass for the move against Southampton where Walcott should've scored. Brings it forward to move them around then splits two lines to get it into Gylfi's feet.

A lot of similar opportunities were misplaced though. The problem is consistency and honestly it might be more mental than anything. He tends to rush and play low percentage balls that are unnecessary and give away possession.

Not until he gives me reason to do so. Silva should help things as he has already seemed to do with Davies and Holgate is still just 22 so he isn't necessarily done developing but I also don't think he is anywhere near good enough to keep out Zouma and Mina at the moment

I think people are underestimating how good Digne is. Sure, Baines has done well the first 2 games, but Digne is a couple classes above.

We're not going to see anything of Zouma, Bernard, Mina this side of the international break.

I think we can sense we're being "managed" here on expectations regarding seeing those players.
