Honestly I think Eddie is great at putting cards together. Just doesn’t always work out as it looks like it should. Yafai looked good tonight but was expecting more from Nicholson, Smith and Barrett.

I think he’s great myself. He’s the best hope for getting a UFC style model in boxing . But it’ll probably never happen . though I wouldn’t rule him trying something with Dana Whites help . it’ll be a while before they try it .

It would be awesome to have one definitive ranking system/unified belt for each weight class.

I don’t even think the fighter pay in the ufc is as bad as it’s made out especially once you’ve made your mark with a few good wins . White has turned that into a multi billion £ business from a laughing stock. How many times has warren and maloney gone ‘bankrupt’ in boxing ?
boxing could learn a lot from the UFC . But too many people are getting rich through keeping boxing as a fractured mess . the amount of belts is beyond a joke .

our own undercards are shocking too though. As boxing has grown over here the undercards seem to have got worse imo
