Congrats to Dutch Toffee! WC final looking likely now - although I reckon Uruguay will be a tough opponent,
Brazil just fell apart second half. Dutch midfield started moving the ball around at a lot quicker tempo and that turned it for them.
Brazil's discipline was appaling. No poise whatsover. They just had two quicksilver player in Fabiano and Robinho but no character to go with it. The Japanese ref was actually quite kind to them on the day and it could have been worse for them.

I wouldn't rule out Germany v Holland final. Chance for the Dutch to get revenge for 1974. The best team never to have won the WC.

Well in DT, chuffed for you mate.
Though that was an awfull game oof football two of the best footballing nations in the world and cynical fouling won the day - bith teams were guilty of it. Fair play to Robben he was a big factor brave in wanting the ball, Brazil could do nothing but foul him and eventually had to take Bastios of before he was sent of and Melo eventually got sent of. How Van Bommel wasnt sent of never mind booked is beyond me. The big difference was Dutchland held their temprement, showed great desire - great to see a Dutch team finaly together.
As for Brazil they lost it compleatly - they didnt have the temprement to get byond cynical fouling - in someway they equated that with desire - the difference being the Dutch did it better. But the ref was poor and it ruined the game as a footballing spectacle.
Chuffed for our Dutch friends hope they go all the way.
On an Everton related note Jonny H didnt have a good game.

It is poor. At first I thought it was the ball.
Then I thought it was just because England were awful.
But it seems like footy has moved on to some horrible corporate level.
Too much play acting... remember in 2002 when Rivaldo actually made the news for doing it. It happens 3 times in every game now.
